I like it, but I wanna know what I need to do to make it happen as far as having that piece where the seat would have gone. Or if someone has done this and made a piece of wood with carpet on it, would you wanna sell it?

Its real easy, you wont be saving that much wieght by removing the rear seat.

depending on what you are doing this for, imo its not worth it. it will work for dragracing and making your car quicker, but for handling its going to make it worse. because you might be loosing some lbs, but you are moving the weight distribution forward on a already front heavy car. but then again you will be lowering the CG.

You won't notice any weight reduction. If you want weight reduction, strip everything. If you want the look of weight reduction and no backseats, then a false rear seat is teh way to go.

1. I like the look and 2. I hate giving more than one other person a ride. I hate moving my seats around. I always have the friend that says "hey I know you were gonna give just me a ride home, but can my friend come too?" don't like that either.

Just do what I do have in mine a childs seat and a bunch of who knows what on the other side and tools in the very back so you can't even make room. But that kinda makes a lot more weight than losing it about a couple 100  I might have 50/50 weight though!

I won't have to worry about this when my car is stripped and full of roll bars back there.... 8)

I have my rear seats in my car ( I spent the money for the SVT interior, might as well use it), because I like how it looks.

How I make my car a two seater is I have fixed back race seats, a bunch of bars in the rear half of my interior and some harnesses thrown in for kicks.

I dare you to try to get back there.

I'll get back there alright....haha..

But one car has full leather Recaro, so I don't allow anyone back there incase they might ruin teh seats. Plus it'll have a cage in it, so no more peeps there. The other car is gonna be stripped with a full cage as well, no more seats, no more free rides bitches...haha.

But I'm really not liking the false floor wood and carpet idea. It always looks cheap and does'nt match the car. When the beater is stripped, I'm just gonna let the shell show, cause thats baller then anything...haha...

Strip it down, install a rear brace and spray it with Rhinoliner or something.

^^^^ Great Idea! Would cut down on road noise. You can also get that color matched or even "Glow" That would be Pimp and a Distraction.
