Just bought a aem cold air kit and a piggy back modual for the fabolus focus gonna try this set up if it sucks im going with a deabiloo chip. found a 3500 stall converter but i dont know if i wanna pull the trans apart from the mota in the gayrage. hoping that the idea i have is goona work .I were lookin at a crown vic throttle body today i measuered it out and its not to far off the foci bolt patern , i know 68mm is to big but iget this little wistle under light accel after i put the cat back on , Im thinkin that if i make a spacer and blend the entry it may get rid of my posser turbo tweet. that long tube intake will turn it into a hoot if i dont take care of this little sitcheeation. ( hay rob why dont you ask them focus homos about that whistle maybe its some thing you fucked up ... guyes in the back ground at work)

dont laugh but i was on ebay it was 27 bucks and cheap enogh to try its a red line chip but not realy it is a 3 wire hook up its more of a modual and if it sucks they said they would buy the better componet ( the deablioo uh hu hu?) might work might not

you have the AEM on there now and it is whistling now? If that is that case make sure where the two long pieces mate there are no leaks. If that whistle occurs during acceleration it may be normal. My CAI and shortie both made sounds under acceleration and load.

Those ebay chips are usually worthless. Nothing beats a truly tuned chip.

no im affraid if i put the cold air on it will hoot instead of tweeping.

it was ever sine i installed the 2 1/4 exhaust under light throttle imput it would sound like forced inducthion it bugs me bucase its not boosted ( not yet any way) ive run into probs on the svt contours with a throttle induced hoot coming out of the air tube But mine sounds more like a throttle spacer tweet. and its loud if im going through down town anoka i can hear it bouncing off the bnuildings then i give more thottle input it tweeps real lood then picks bak up where it left off or shifts

right know i live in brooklyn park untill august 1 , then im moving to anoka . I work at tousley ford in the fleet shop 7am to 3:30pm then I head to brooklyn center tires plus to put in another 4-5 hours then go home check the computer give my chicky a kiss and go tobed mon - fri. the weekends i spend bench racing, drinking, wrenching, causing genrall meham(may-ham....for pappy cant understand my cuntry speechems)

Im sure some of ..........you people..........have seen me out in anoka area i have the black zx3 , no emblemms , stock rims loud ass tunes and halo projectors. and lowered some.

thinkin im some sort of hard ass but we all know i aint
