Need to swap out headlight switch with one that has fogs

Hi,

I have been looking for a used headlight switch with the foglight option for my 06 but so far after months of monitoring Ebay I have yet to find one. I can find them for the 00-04 Foci but the front housing is different between the two. What I am wondering is if anyone has taken apart a headlight switch and if so does it appear that the front housing can be replaced. Looking to possibly buy an 00-04 switch if I can swap my switches front housing/faceplate so that it will fit properly in my dash. Worst case scenario is to pick up a new one from Steve for 60+dollars (no offense meant) versus used for around 20.

Have you checked the local Salvage yards? I would think that they should have something.

Completely unrelated question, but if you ever get a hold of a sonic blue SVT with an undamaged passenger side fender, throw a post up, I'll buy it from you.

Anyone know when a good time is or even more important when I shouldn't try to call Al? Left him a p.m. but I'm guessing he doesn't frequent the board so I haven't got a response back from him yet.

He normally answers in the mid morning or afternoon. Just try giving him a call duing 'business hours' to not disturb his evenings or anything...

No he just has alot of Focus's and parts for them. He also rebuilds them too.

The city is kind of getting after poor Al, you might want to get a hold of him before he has to get rid of all his cars.

He actually just worked out a deal with a guy so the Focus Yard isn't at his house anymore. He has just a couple there and the rest are at another guys place. Boy if he did need to get rid of them I know there are a couple i would like to get my hands on!! :lol:

Ya,

he had a nice black SVT and a nice S2 when I was there. The other SVT was the yard.
