To roll up and rev on an SVT with a Scion XA?
Some teenage dork with his hat on crooked and some aftermarket wheels on a skyhigh Scion XA actually tried it this afternoon.
In traffic with no where to go, I just laughed and ignored him.
Moron!
How dumb do you have to be?

If I'd been going straight I might have taught him a lesson but there were cars in front of us and I had to turn onto 35E so there wasn't room.
Besides, it would have been a first gear pull which would have really killed him.

At least you're not dumb enough to buy a scion....cant_focus wrote:Hey i'm a moronic teenager who wears crooked hats too!!! =/
Honestly, though, Steve...I get at least one of these a week. It's always funny seeing the look on the teenager's face when you pull away from his trans am in a little 4-banger focus....and let off the throttle, and let him have it again. And again....4 times. Kinda sad.

Yeah we get that same crap in Rochester too . It's even funnier for me when they look over at the next light and see me (Gramps) with the gray hair ! That was a blast in the ST -still more fun with my HHR/SS CATZUP delivery van !!! What I hate most is having to let off the gas for the stupid ricers (usually primered Hondas that never seem to get any real paint) to catch up so I can whoop up on them again ! Thats how dumb they are down here . Kyle enjoys pounding on them with his wagon too ! Whats even more fun is getting one behind you and running deep /fast into the turns on the overheads and watching them trying to save their own ass ! Or pile their crap bucket up trying !!! o6designs-CATZUP

Crooked hat wearing was ghey in the 80's and it is gheyer now, i like to laugh at popped collars and crooked hats and i almost piss myself when i see a guy with both abnormalities thinking they are keepin it crunk.

Slower than your stock focus.
There's a whole house full of those boys ( Half cranked hats ) about 3 blocks from us with a driveway full of primer Hondas. Usually 2 or 3 on jack stands . We get a real kick out of seeing what's tore up or down ! If the cars aren't junk when they first buy them -they are when their done with them . They have a hell of a turn over of cars!!---o6designs-CATZUP

You know whats funny (and no offense to you or your new ride) was that shortly after the Scion incident I had some a couple kids in an HHR try to outbrake me and take a ramp faster than me.o6designs wrote:Yeah we get that same crap in Rochester too . Now that was freakin hysterical, I could have taken him on the inside, outside, driven over or under him on that ramp. What the hell are these people thinking??

^^They aren't thinking, and/or have no clue what a focus is really capable of.
I almost never have anyone rev me, it's weird. In fact, maybe only twice in all the time I've had the car!

Yeah, I don't get much in the wagon. With it being a Focus, plus a wagon...
I did have a HHR SS try to pull up on me in Chromie...but I shoot at him and pulled away. LOL

Pants too tight, wheels so bright!
Yeahaaaa !!! Think where you were when Chromie fired that shot !! In the soccer field drive where the last drive bye shooting that we had took place . No wonder that red HHR/SS backed off the gas - they was shooting at him !! 1st gear-BANG-2nd gear-your dead meat !!!--06designs-CATZUP
