1) 1972 Ford Pinto 3 door hatch, Bird poop yellow w a 4 sp, paid a whopping 250.00 and drove it until one cold cold winter day when I was late for work and didn't let the engine warm up drove it half way to work before she seized up, good lesson learned for a 16yr old.
2) 1974 Pinto Orange and White 3 door hatch ran this one almost all the way through high school, think the Auto tranny gave up on that one.
Then a couple of those "deal of a lifetime" cars came along that a kid should not have, period.
3) 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 can't recall what it had under the hood 428??? but it was a huge 4 door boat that belonged to an second aunt of mine It was in great shape until that fateful day while bringing it home from storage in the spring the hood popped open on the highway, the hood was torn off the car went airborne and almost hit my buddies car behind us, that was a pant's crapper! Never found a replacement hood and the parents made me get rid of it after I stumbled upon my fourth car.
4)1970 Buick Skylark 2 door with a 2bbl 350 in it 25,000 miles on it, in practically pristine condition as it was literally the "little ol lady's sunday driver" had an auto tranny and bench seating, vinyl if I recall. This one I got through family connections of a girl I was dating at the time. Like the Olds it didn't last too long as on the way home from Dunwoody where I was studying electronics at the time I rear ended a little Dodge Colt that happened to be driven by one of the Autobody instructors at Dunwoody, he was driving his Colt home for the first time after having it at school for the last year getting it repaired do to being rear ended, needless to say he was "HOT".
4 1/2) Bought a 1970 Buick GS that had been rear ended and started rebuilding my Skylark which had somewhat minor damage in comparison. The GS front clip was put on the Skylark and the panels that needed repair were repaired. Drove it half GS blue and half Skylark gold for about 2 years before deciding to go back to school and planning to commute. Sold it to a local car guy who finished putting it together Posi rearend and all he painted it black and sold it to some dumb kid that wrapped it around a phone pole. I found out about all this one night when the cops came knocking on my door and asked me where I was earlier that night, seems the guy I sold the car to and the guy he sold the car to never bothered to transfer the title. I feel lucky I was still living at home with the parents and that it was like 2 in the morning so everyone was at home and asleep when the popo showed up!
5) 1980 Toyota Tercel 2 door coupe??? when I bought it it had 89k on it, when I sold it to my little brother it had 265k on it, when he got done tearing it up driving into ditches an the like he drove it into the bone yard with 320k on the odometer. Great little car with a lot of great memories made during the time I owned that one.
6) Ford Bronco II bought it from my boss nice vehicle drove it for three years or so then traded it in for.
7) Brand New 1993 (My first NEW car) Ford Explorer XLT with 5sp manual and sun roof. (still have this one although I rarely drive it)

Used 1998 Ford Escort Wagon Red with a 5 speed, rare, (this also was my first car from Tousley) I tinted the windows and did a brow strip, did the bra thing, it was a sweet little car. Wanted a grocery getter for driving around town and put the Explorer in semi-retirement.
9) 2002 new Ford Focus ZX3 s, WOW what a car! After driving the Escort the ride difference was like driving a one ton truck verses a Lincoln Town Car.
10) 2006 Traded off the 2002 for the 2006 Focus ZX3 se more so because the 2002 was approaching 100k then wanting or needing to trade. I just bought a house and would have to commute 50+ miles a day so I wanted a vehicle with low miles that would hopefully be dependable and under warranty should something happen. I even did something that I would never otherwise do and that is buy an extended warranty to cover the major drive train components for 100k knowing that I would easily put those miles on in about 4 years.
So far that's it and how I got into the Foci, still have the Explorer or more often reffered to as the Exploder these day's and my 2006 ZX3.
