Just throw a turbo in the exhasut stream to quiet the exhaust.
Slower than your stock focus.

if ya got a good exhaust system noise isn a problem, plus a good high flow cat dampens sound a little, or i can help you put a real system in so you cant hear anything  and from what i under stand those shorty (jba, monza,)they only flow better, they dont help scavaging like a tri y header would or long tube

Now if I only had money to do everything I want. Ah well, in time right?

What do you mean by real system? like a fs stealth or something?

Ah well, tons to learn I'll probably just chat with people and stuff tonight, bringing a friend who's rebuilding a fierro he wants to see the Foci.

sorry im just an a-hole some times. see im running about 2600 watss at full tilt so i cant hear much of any thing......at all.......ever.......but honstly man its all about person preferance if you wanna run the shorty dont let my oppion stop you, i have the stock wheezer header on mine so what dose thjat tell ya... i like low end power i drive my car on the street every day in the summer. ive talked to other foci owners, they say go with the long tube, all the old school hot roders say longer is better for the street.. intake length and header length have a huge impact on where your torque is gone play at, stop light to stop light, you want low end. fromrolls, and drag strip you mostly want mid length to short stuff, some of these guys here can probly explane better, but its in the length, go look at the svt, does it have a long or a short header on it?
