I had gotten the idea when Steve was looking for one :D This truly does lower the shifter about an inch! I just need a short shifter now :?

Looks good. You should find someone to match the red knob stitching and do the boot.

I didn't even think about the stiching on the boot. Thanks for the idea! I was looking around I was hmmm the seats could use red Stiching now :lol:

The install was very simple! I just have a problem with the boot sliping down now but I can live with that for the time being.

I used a leftover rubber grommet from a universal toilet flush valve kit, it fits very tightly onto the shift lever and keeps the boot up.

It's also cool because it's tapered so it helps with the shape of the boot going into the bottom of the knob.

I might have another one lying around, I just have to look for it.

This is why I never throw away leftovers from stuff like that.
