So I have been looking at centrifugal supercharger head units as possible choices for my future Duratec S.C. build. Who has what here on MNFocus and have you had any problems with it. Also what is the "word on the street" about the different products or manufactures. The most prominent names seem to be:

Vortech
ATI Procharger
Paxton
Powerdyne

I know that there is also the Rotrex Centrifugal unit out there as well as a number of the fixed displacement "Eaton style" and twin screw compressor (whipple) models all of which have their pros and cons. I am only looking for brand information on the four listed and specifically their performance, reliability, and their ability to be tuned by a knowledgable tuner.

Thanks,
Brian

The Blower on mine is a Vortech. V-9 Trim I believe.

I've never had a problem with it. Love it.

Vortechs are solid and Whipples are practically indestructible.

Unless you're dealing with a Contour kit  But then again it was never the blower that was the problem on those, just the jackshaft.

the vortec is the only one that comes with a air to liquid to air cooler i think. of the listed kits paxton and powerdyne are the dead simple ones.
