The title pretty much says it all, I'm looking (not real hard) for a cheap old motorcycle for a cheap commuter.

Pretty much anything from 250 to 650 would be good and almost any condition would be acceptable as long as it's complete and has a title.

Anyone got anything lying around?

The budget is virtually nothing, thats why I said cheap.

What I really want is something thats been sitting and needs some work, I've got far more ability than I have cash.

What I'd really like would be an old Yamaha 650 special, like pre-1980.

Or an old one lung Yamaha 500 thumper.

I always liked Kawasakis but they don't have much in the way of singles and twins that I like.

6'6'" get it right

I've had several bikes over the years, my favorite was a '74 Kawasaki 500 triple. One of the techs I used to work with said I looked like one of those trained bears riding a minibike when I rode it.

I never really cared how I looked on it, just how the bike looked and how fun it was to ride.

I'm treading a dangerous line here, It wouldn't be a real long ways to go to sell the SVT, buy a beater and pick up a bike I really like.

My only concern is all the MORONS out there that try to kill you every chance they get when you're on a bike. Kind of a major concern actually so I'll probably keep the SVT and find a little side road commuter.

very good condition, but I already told a friend of mine I'd sell it to him. I'm not so sure you'd fit anyways, I don't really fit and you've got like 4" on me
