Aren't we all trying alittle hard? Ya know...CleanZX3 wrote:Meh...Trying waaay to hard. Dont Like it.
Anyway, I found more pics of the car....this car has been thru hell...

Pants too tight, wheels so bright!

That contrast makes it cooler. Still meh..
Like your hood. Super clean, and perfect modded car...with a rusty hood. For me the contrast makes it interesting/cool.
But for the most part, I just cant get into car built to look crappy on purpose...One head light working, crooked license plate frame ect.. I can see if its in transition, or a car with all the money going towards performance first. I cant get into the euro rat rod thing.
I'll shut up now.

I just noticed, that things a Diesel!
Have you ever driven an old N/A VW Diesel? Those things are dangerously slow. Great gas mileage but they can't even get out of their own way.

I like it. I really like the Rat Rod scene and what car Cultures do it. The sweetest Rat Rod I have seen so far would have been a Volkswagon Transport Van Slamed to the ground. Wish I could find Pix of it....

take a look at where this "rat rod" scene came from. i like it myself but a true rat rod is not a rat rod, its a real hot rod. back in the day when yer ganpappy was full of piss and viniger, he was not full of money. hot rods were the same as stripped out civics, what do i need to be the fastest? ok get rid of every thing else. also paint back then was very spendy if not impossible(cus of the war) to get. so when i hear some idgit had to set his new s-10 calipers out to rust it bugs me, a true rat/hot rod would put them on shiny, its the same with how this fad has moved to all other walks of life. if thats yer thing then do it, but also make sure you know yer origins and bring it honor. all this brings to mind that new scion add on tv....unitied by indviduality, i like that.Patalrob wrote:I like it. me personally? I think that car is sexier than sex... err girls in bikini's? or maybe a smooth, newly paved twisty road. ok well you get my point.
