Finally found some extra cash to do some work! Im going with MSD wires/coil pack, Denso iridium plugs, new DSI lever and new fuel filter and lastly some new tranny fluid (RP syncromax) all from CFM.com minus the RP from jegs. Hopefully this will fix my bogging issue, thinking its a bum fuel filter...more then likely it has the stock one (66k) which is not good!! lol. also going to do some other tricks I found on FF.com.

and I have a bad converter too...I think, going to look more into it but it makes a godawful rattle when I'm at about 1800 RPMs. 8)

sounds good. I've done all that you have and more and I can tell you it will not fix your bog.
Shift weight is good, I like it. As for your converter PA makes one and other parts for the Focus, you should look into them.

The rattle is most likely a broken cat bracket, easy fix.

ok. 66k on a fuel filter, i just changed mine with 100k+.the rattle is most likely the bracket that holds the cat, ( thin metal dont like bang shiftin) a msd coil will only do one thing, thats lighten yer wallet. if you dont have super high cyl pressure then you dont need that coil. your factory coil is rated at 50,000 volts and has double the dwell time of a hei style ignition. the mani switch is a must. a bog in the svt is from the adhd in the pcm, if you mean a stumble thats most likely a maf or a fuel pump(as found in kryptos car). now if yer talkin you dump the clutch and it fights to spin the wheels thats yer abs/traction control. if the car senses a loss of traction or controll the pcm is told to pull timing out wich feels like the motor falls on its face you need to program that out of the system to acheive a hard launch. at normal driving conditions it bogs id look at the maf first then test fuel pressure then TPS also if you have a scanner the short fuel trims and o2s will tell if somtins uota whack. 8)

yep rattle is likely your cat bracket or heat sheild on the header or I found the sheild on the R&P loose.

Forget my other post about converters from PA, I was thinking you were talking about your torque converter which didnt back sense cuz you have a 6 speed

I had iridium plugs abd they were shorter than stock. I put coppers in and it worked alot better, but I just picked up plugs from Steve and he said the coppers are only good for FI applications. I thought they were an upgrade for all Foci :?

Yea im pretty sure that iridium come stock. ive heard that coppers are for FI setups.

And Focinite, the reason im going with the MSD setup is for one reason only, I put that exact setup (coil and wires) in my jeep and it made a HUGE difference.

trust me stick with the motorcraft double plats. if you go FI then yes a copper plug with a colder rating is needed. in stock form the svt ordinace is more than adiquate to do the jog. if you want flash i suggest getting good with an air brush cus will se no to minior improve ments with bolt on do-hickies. you can do what you like , im just trying to save you a lot of money. the rocker switch from c.f.m is well worth the money, the msd coil is great cus its cheaper than the stock coil but the out put is the same, basic maint. is always a good bet, the synchro mesh fluid, good choice as it helps with cold shifts.

Well got the parts yesterday and installed them today! everything was really simple. The little DSI lever gave me the most trouble that cause the stupid E-clip that holds hit was too damn small for my fingers :(. Other then that I cant believe how this car runs now, its changed for the better! much more smoother idle/acceleration. I <3 MSD ignition and will never choose anything other then MSD! now its time to track the MPG and see if I can possibly get more.
