The clunking is finally getting bad enough I'm going to replace these. Any suggestions on what type to get and where locally to pick some up? I don't know if I have the patience to wait for shipping on an internet-order of Moogs (which seems to be the brand of choice at ff)..

You could probably order some from Steve and have them pretty quickly...

It's about $35.00 for the pair including new nuts. We have them in stock.

Yeah, the ones I just picked up are a lot beefier than the ones I took off my wife's car ('00 ZX3). The old ones were thin steel and had plastic cups over the ball ends where the new ones are thick aluminum and have steel cups.

Of course, the clunking on her car ended up being a broken spring, but that's another story.

I'm guessing (hoping) it's the end links. They look pretty worn so I'm starting with those. Harold- did you replace yours with OEMs?

White Bear is a bit of a drive for me, I'll look for something a bit closer, or suppose I could do mail order now since I won't be able to work on it till next weekend. I ended up digging fence post holes at my brother-in-laws this weekend so I didn't make it to my car project yet.
