welp, after we were givfing justin so much shit about his shifter breakage, i uh... yea.
coming out of the parking lot trying to be a hotshot, hit second gear a little too hard and snapped the plastic on the front of the shift tower, it was still driveable but very iffy. just thought i'd share.
oh and do they make an aluminum replacement of any kind?? something more reinforced? i tend to shift a little stout.
another one bites the dust

lol that's carma for ya... after justen told me how many shifters he's broken I kinda eased up on me short shifter.
As far as mettle replacements go I don't know, but if they do let me know how much they are going for.

justin was telling me something about an svt shift tower being aluminum, hmmmm said they're hard to come by though
tell you what, i've got a buddy who works with aluminum all day, he's made floormats and fan shrouds, stuff like that. i'll talk to him this weekend and see if he can't fab something up for me, if it works well i'll see if he can't make a couple for a good price, no promises though.

not sure if you've taken the tower out, I think it'd be a bitch to replicate. Definitely more complex than a fan shroud or floor mat. I'm definitely intersted if he comes up with something that works though.
