Thats no where near as bad as I had pictured, that looks like en electrical fire for sure.

It still sucks but that is totally repairable.

Wow, that sucks. On another note, if it's a 440, why is the motor Hemi Orange?

When it was purchased from a guy who tore the motor apart and sold the car in 1974 it was orange and when put back together that is what it was painted. If I remember right big blocks were orange and small blocks were blue.

I've seen them both ways. I know small blocks tended to be blue but I also thought most big blocks were orange.

Do a Yahoo image search and you'll see them both ways in restored and unrestored cars.
