Stock 2002 SVT Focus exhaust (flex pipe back). I don't have any pics as the exhaust is still on the car and will remain there until I receive an acceptable offer or decide to buy the Borla anyway. 78k miles on the car. $150/obo Pick-up is preferred, local delivery possible for a nominal fee.

Drop 100 bucks off your price and you might get SOME interest, people generally give these away

I talked to Steve earlier and he said they go for ~$500 new. If $180 is unreasonable I am open to offers, I just want to recoup some of the cost of the Borla.

The exhaust is complete, so the lunchbox should still be there. I would have to look to verify but I'm 99% certain it's there. Feel free to low-ball, I'll consider any offer ($10 is not an offer).

I imagine the $500 Steve quoted you was for a new Borla...I see no reason that a stock SVT system should go for that much.

I know most of mine's lying next to a garage...

No, a new stock SVT system runs about $500.00 or a little better. Obviously most people have not priced out OEM exhaust systems.

I'd say if no one wants it now then you should stick it up in the rafters and save it, eventually people will want replacements and they won't be able to get them.

I have to say I am confused as to why someone with a stock Zetec car wouldn't want an SVT system as it's a huge upgrade from the regular Zetec system.

A Borla system is $363.00 from me.

I really don't see $180.00 as out of line, like I said, if you can't what you want for it maybe you should store it.

i guess i'll offer $40. i've seen a few go for that on FJ. i don't want/need the flex, and you can keep the lunch box.

Thanks for the offer, but I want to get at least $100 for it. If I don't get an offer over $100 I'll probably just take Steve's advice and stick it out in the barn.

Holy shit. I guess I never looked at what a stock system costs.

Either way, stick it in the barn and wait and see, or get what you can for it.

For the record I checked and the lunchbox is there. It appears to be in good shape from what I could see, no dents or anything.

Is the SVT exhaust stainless throughout? If so, I might be interested.

I'm not sure if it's stainless or not, but there is no rust on it. Hopefully Steve can shed some light for us. :)
