Non Focus discussion. Pretty much other cars and off topic stuff.

Anyone know of someone who can fill an argon gas tank? I've been looking around for some time now, and can't seem to find one. I'm gonna need my welder up and running very soon, and all I need is the darn gas... Anyone have some insight for me?

Isn't Argon what the MIG wire feed welders use too?

I could probably ask my dad where he got his filled last time.

I believe so.

The shop where I worked at used Argon for the TIG welder and Tri-mix for the MIG wire feed.

BTW- I love Stainless welding W/TIG :D

I don't have a very big tank. I just need it filled. Its only like 2 1/2 ft tall and 10 in around. Just a basic one. I just need it for when I get my exhaust(next week) I need to fix my orp.

Any welding shop should be able to do it for you. There are a couple welding shops in Hudson.

When I bought my welder I bought an argon take with it. Just cause I wanted gas secondary. If there is something better and cheaper, plz let me know, i'll forsure go that way.

Just go to a welding shop and talk to the guys there. They'll let you know what's up. I wouldn't expect a fill to be more than $30 with argon, CO2 or a mix. I want to say the guys at the welding shop just down the street from me quoted around $20 for 40cuft of CO2.
