I was planning on buying a Borla for my SVTF but funds are a bit low and I've read there isn't much gain to be had from exhaust. Has anyone done a lunchbox delete on an SVTF? If so, how does it sound? Any recommended shops to do it? Is the stock exhaust stainless? If not I can weld it myself.

it's really cheap to get done. just go to any joint like midas or what have you. i got mine done for $30. unless you have a bender or want it to look stupid you can't do it yourself. where it goes into the lunch box and where it comes out don't line up. i don't have an svt so i moght be stepping out of line here, but on the normal foci it maks it a tad louder but not a bad sound.
A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

Loud and ricey or loud and throaty? I don't want it to sound like a Civic with a Folgers muffler.

More like Maxwell House.

I've never been a fan of lunchbox deletes, I kinda think they sound like crap.

the lunch box is actually the spark arrestor, and the last one i cut open was almost empty sept for some baffles(i.e perrferated plates) i figure it would make the off throttle burbles a bit poppy-er. do not take only the ressinator out it will sound like a angry quad. :?
