I'm a bit nervous. I haven't gone to school since I was 16 (1999). Any advice from the guys who are in school? I'm majoring in electrical engineering. Should be interesting anyway.
I am going to Century College. It's going to be pretty intense, tons of math and science. I dropped out of school when I was 16 and got my GED when I was 21. I haven't seen the inside of a classroom in ages. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time.
Fortunately I have a natural affinity for math, I've always been good at it. However, since I didn't graduate high school I am behind considerably in math. I need to tale Algebra, Trig, and Geometry before I even get to the core classes of the transfer program. By the time all is said and done it will take me around five years for a bachelor's degree.
Congrats on the decision to go back. I too need to go back to school. I'm only 19 but that 2 1/2 year break has been hurting me (graduated early). I'm thinking law enforcement.
