Is there a way to adjust the rails on my seat so I can push it back further? I am about 6'5", 290 pounds...and the driver's seat is a little too close for me. I'd like to be able to go back another 3 inches, at least. :?

holy shit. so after moving it all the way back, lowering it and pushing your wheel in you need more space?!?!?!?

well, anything's possible. either just remounting or custom fabed rails or some shit. but i don't think it'll be as strong after 3 more inches.

 Yes...I still need at least 3 more inches. The biggest problem is my right knee being pried into the radio/console area. Everything else is livable. But I seriously have a sore knee all day from my legs being too long and my knee being crammed into that spot.

¡No problema! Simply remove the front seat, and sit in the back! (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) But seriously, they modify cars for basketball players and such, so there should be a way to accomplish this. However, those folks are usually driving something larger than a Focus!

That's what you get for buying a four door :P

That's why I drive a three door, the seat tracks slide back farther 8)

the zx3s go back farther? i never noticed between the two. how much more do they go back? if that's what would work without a bunch of mods i have a set.

I never knew the sedans didn't go back as far as the hatch
Are the 5 door seats the same as a sedan then? (I'd think they would be)
So he'll need zx3 seats . . .
