Looks to be almost identical style as TCS, someone over there get pissed and start another site?

I'll sign up, but only to reserve my SN basically. I need a good engine theory/design/principal site to really be happy ... which doesn't really exist out of the in the know/school/eng realm.

Who's running the new site BTW?
(car guy or computer nerd)

Hmm, well he's twice been the local SVTOA chapter president, he owns two Terminators right now and he also now owns TC Stangs so I'm thinking he's a car guy.

I can tell you right now it's more of a car club site than a tech site so don't get too wound up about it.

Car guy +1, the computer nerds really get on my nerves (photogs too).

I won't sweat it. just wish I could get answers to technical questions I have, what if kinda stuff.

I believe the Terminators he has are his second and third, He's also had a Lightning or two and a whole bunch of other random stuff.

Are you looking for Focus tech? You already know there's really only a few good sites for that kind of info.

I believe he has LadyCobra do most of the maintenance on it, she is the web guru behind the operation.

I haven't signed up yet, maybe I should get on it.

Edit: Just signed up, looks like the same old SVTOA though. I always felt like an outsider with that club, no offense but I can't see paying to be a member of a car club ever.

That's just it, it's not going to be SVTOA anymore and I don't think theres' going to be any dues. I was a member of SVTOA for a year and dropped out.

It'd be cool to go to some of their meets if we could get a bunch of us to go so we aren't outnumbered so badly by the Cobra/Lightning guys.

Most of them are good guys, I know a lot of them.

Hey all. I'm the guy that runs the new MNFordEnthusiasts.com site and I also own TCStangs. I have been around the Twin Cities car community all my life and have owned close to 75 Fords in my years of driving age. My father retired from the Twin City Ford plant after 30 years, and I have personally rebuilt multiple motors on my own.

I also 1/2 run and own 3LDuratec.com, which is a side business of mine that specializes in building 3L Duratec motors for SVT Contours and Cougars.

I'm a hands on guy, I have a large garage/shop and I'm pretty versed in just about all Fords.

So yeah, I'm a car guy. :)

MNFE will be nothing like TCStangs, and will be nowhere near as exclusive as SVTOATC was. That's the whole point and one of the biggest reasons we broke away from SVTOA national. They were too exclusive and made you feel like you didn't belong if you didn't own a SVT product.

Give us a shot!

Dan

Edit: PS. There are currently dues of $20 to belong to MNFE as a CLUB, but the forums are free. The $20 is well worth it and we had a decent membership when our dues were $60, so $20 will be a bit easier to swallow.

I'm willing to answer any and all questions you have. I'm on your forum, have been for a while, and I'm not hiding behind anything. Those that know me know I'm the same guy in person as I am online.

Hey Danny boy :D

The $20.00 goes towards club functions and stuff correct? It's not just like giving away $20.00 for no reason. Not saying I'll be joining or not but I wanted to clarify for the guys. 8)
