90% of us here are banned from FF anyways myself included but I figured I'd try to help a friend get a win.

Mave's car could be made to be better looking, but isn't that great right now.
I did kinda like the 5th entry as it hadn't been beaten with the ugly stick, just the go fast stick.
The coupe is definitely nice looking, although the wheels sometimes look goofy to me.

A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."

Does it really matter if he bought it that way? It's by far the best car in the contest regardless and the guy has been around the Focus scene for a LONG time so it's not like he just bought the car and joined the forums.Monkey-Gein wrote:i guess i don't have enough posts either. aren't COTMs suppose to be based on the car and npt a popularity contest? didn't he buy the car lik that?

If Mave's car wins, what does that say about FF? I know they don't care, and it doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but the FSW coupe is outstanding, and probably few if any other ROTM cars will come close to that car. Mave's car certainly does not compare. We went through this with o2 and CrazyMatt on FF. It was a popularity contest, plain and simple. How a car with just neons was hanging in with Chromie tells you something. There's no shame in renaming the contest Focus Owner of the Month.
Seems it would be more appropriate for FF. Certainly it fits their fan base and would eliminate the rivalry contests. Besides, with such few actual votes placed, what a few hundred out of 60K members...it's more a labor than love.

I agree that it was ridiculous that CrazyMatt's car was keeping up with o2 but in this month I can understand people voting for Mave. Yes the FSW car is amazing, no doubt in my mind. BUT, maybe people voted for the car that was built up and modded by the owner rather than all by a company deserves the win. Just a thought.
Also, what is any online contest poll other than a popularity contest?
