Wow...this is terrible. Stay with the Mach HIDs that I'm going to black out, or order a pair of these...so torn

I'm looking at replacing my Machs with the HID version of these. I don't really care for the dynabeam feature, but I like the look of these lights.

Just order the Xenons. They look the same as the Dynabeam, but do not swivel. I responded to your post on FJ.Arsenal741 wrote:I'm looking at replacing my Machs with the HID version of these. I don't really care for the dynabeam feature, but I like the look of these lights.

Being the lighting retard I am, I'm confused.
The HID unit is HID low beam only and pictured, low beam is the projector and the high beam is the bulb to the inside? ... where is the blinker mentioned in the wiring hack?
The Dynabeam setup is 1 projector per side but moves the bulb or moves a shield over the bulb, right? Meaning that the physical projector is different from the HID unit.
So on the Dynabeam, what is the inside light for, being it isn't a high or low beam light? Just a 'city light'?
As far as the 'steering' of the Dynabeam goes ... does it require a steering angle input from our wire harness somewhere or is it calculated from the Hella brain box somehow ... are we able to re-tune those Hella numbers if they are off some in our opinion? (maybe simple dip switches?)
I may take a set of the Dynabeams but I'm currently on hiatus fro FJ, IIRC you already know this. I assume being the cool guy I am I'm still eligible for the groupbuy pricing?

High/low beams are just like the MACH's halogen highs, and xenon lows for the HID setup. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but when i hooked up my MACH's I had to do a wiring mod so that my high beams include both the xenon and halogen lights along with the fogs too.

As a self-declared headlight whore, yes, there is a hack that needs to be done to get highs and lows on at the same time. Should just be a jumper wire on the turn signal switch.Arsenal741 wrote:High/low beams are just like the MACH's halogen highs, and xenon lows for the HID setup.
