Hey guys, I just talked to Dan at SVT salvage and he has an untouched '04 EAP SVT that was flooded just to the top of the seat tracks and it has to be parted because it has a certificate of destruction so the VIN can not be re-registered.

The car came from Florida originally and he bought it in Alabama, the car was driven from Alabama to New Jersey so it is fully functional.

He has not posted the parts on e-bay yet or on his site, This is a prime chance to get some great deals.

He has the full set of Recaros but he won't split them up. Heres your chance Trahma, find someone who only wants fronts and you have your full set.

I talked to him for quite a while today and he may be phasing out of the SVT salvage because the price of complete cars is going up and eating up the profit margin.

Here is his site http://www.svtsalvage.com/ like I said, he does not have a complete listing of what he has in stock so e-mail him or call him at 732-995-0993 he does respond to voice mails.

I have had several dealings with him personally and he is a great guy to deal with.

hmmm, could anyone tell me (or show me a link) what the difference between the svt and the stock zx3 is, besides the engine, like the little stuff such as those extra guages, or the suspension and brakes

thanks,

Hmm, lets see,

Seats
door panels
gauges
HVAC bezel
center dash bezel
6 speed
steering wheel
e-brake handle
wheels
brakes
steering rack
steering pump
suspension
bumper covers
HID's on EAP's and some regular SVT's got them as an option.
rocker mouldings
painted body mouldings
painted hatch strip

Plus I believe all SVT's were pretty much loaded with all the other options like variable speed intermittent wipers and stuff.

BTW- did I mention that it's a competition orange EAP.

Oh sure, after I ordered all my svt parts, ah well, I emailed him but he never got back to me.

If I had more money and just didn't do my front brakes, I would get on him about them....

Someone should buy the car and make it a race car
