I've got my 18" wheels and they need new tires bad, so im looking for cheap tires.
one thing I've noticed is that 245/40/18's are cheaper than 245/35/18's will going from 35 to 40's make that much of a difference? I've got coilovers so I can easily adjust my setup to accomidate for teh increased side wall. Just wondering what you all think.

i think they are 245's, I could be wrong. I just started looking at tire prices. Maybe they are 225's I'll have to look when I get home. I just know whatever they are, they are wide as fuck.

no shit. My 18s I picked up are wide as hell. 215/35R18. Even tho they say they are 215, they are still an inch wider then my 215/45R17 tires. I still don't understand that.
Heres a comparison photo. I don't know why the sizes are so different, but my 17's rubbed, so I'll be lucky if these don't.

Pants too tight, wheels so bright!

maybe they're 225, like i said i havn't looked at them since i've taken them off my car. But Edge racing for $80/tire is damn good.
