What kind of parts are you looking for?
There are acouple companys that sell some random stuff here and there. Exhaust, intake, chipping, *cough*turbo*cough*.
Cosworth is a good brand. Nothing wrong with their parts. But to me, Cosworth is the prada of Focus Tuning. Their stuff is really expensive compared to other companys that will give the same performance and warranty their parts just as much as Cosworth. Your pretty much paying them to put their name on the car.

lol, ya im glad that focus sport put out the new turbo kits, and i agree with you on cosworth being the prada of parts, but i am planning to go all out with my car, and cosworth seems to be the only one that really has the parts to slmost completly rebuild your engine to handle all the power (hell maybe ill just do the first (that i know of) zx4 v8 conversion (i wish i could afford that))

Just save your money and buy the Full FS Turbo Setup. Toss in a Quiffe and upgraded clutch and go.
You can keep the stock tranny and stock motor and you will be making more than enough power. Any thing over what that turbo kit puts out is useless power in a focus anyways. You DO NOT need to build up the 2.3's at all.

hes right the 2.3 has a very good bottom end! the boost factor is the main deal on this engine, cram some boost down its throat and let er buck!!Pappy wrote: Just save your money and buy the Full FS Turbo Setup. Toss in a Quiffe and upgraded clutch and go.

Cossie stuff is super expensive. Marcy has some Duratec parts like pistons and rods, I have a set of crane cams coming from him that should arrive any day. I'd like to put on a header, FRPP lists one in the new catalog but it's not for sale yet. Good news is any FRPP parts Steve can get us cheap. There are enough parts to play with, good news is we are starting with a much better platform than the zetec guys.
Maybe we should start a local duratec club so that we can swap info and helpout with parts install?

I didn't mean a new "club", I meant a new topic or whatever. I have no idea how many of us there are on this site. As far as I know I was the first one to ask about the duratec 2 years ago and no one answered...
