Yep, I decided to drive home to my parents today after nobody showed up at Sinclair for the MNSC meet. It was a hell of a trip! Got stuck in 4 1/2 miles of stop-and-go on I-35 around Nortfield for no apparent reason- I guess if you count a single lane of traffic and rain [OMG!!] as major traffic issues then there was a valid reason. When I got to my parent's house, I noticed that my front bumper was completely detatched on the passenger side. :x Not really sure when or where it happened. I thought... well, that kinda sucks- gonna have to fix that before I drive home....
So we went down and saw my nephew in the hospital. Poor kid spent his 3rd birthday stuck in a bed with an IV in his arm. He got really sick and was totally dehidrated- went in on Friday and probably won't make it home till Tuesday.
So we stayed there for a while, then stopped at the hardware store on the way home so I could pick up something to reattach my bumper. Turns out the bolts stipped right out of the plastic ladder thingy that hold the bumper on and the plactic piece was long gone. So as of right now it's being held on with three 1/4 inch bolts, some lock nuts, and nylon washers. :? At least it made it home.

OK, that's my story for today- we'll now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
Believe me- after 8 1/2 months and 4 engine blocks, the car definitely earned the name Debacle.

I don't like Tom (and neither should you).

Crap I'm sorry man, there was no way I was getting there till like noon. My rear tires were hating the rain and I was fishtailing at anything above 40mph. As it was, I had to pull over after leaving the MNSC meet, I was too damn nervous. I really need new rear tires.

That sucks about your bumper. It's a good thing you noticed before any damage was dealt to it though.

My day yesterday consisted of getting drenched in the rain at the MNSC meet, hitting up noodles and company before I went home. On the way home I set a new speed record in the Focus. I don't think the girls in the Eclipse RS would have known what a supercharger is, but they learned how fast it can be.

Sorry I didn't show. I was a tired and didn't wake up till about 11 and then we had a graduation party to attend. The beer flowed there as well. Finished off a pony keg in about 2 hours, not bad for a bunch of old people.
Slower than your stock focus.
