Yep, I decided to drive home to my parents today after nobody showed up at Sinclair for the MNSC meet. It was a hell of a trip! Got stuck in 4 1/2 miles of stop-and-go on I-35 around Nortfield for no apparent reason- I guess if you count a single lane of traffic and rain [
OMG!!] as major traffic issues then there was a valid reason.

When I got to my parent's house, I noticed that my front bumper was completely detatched on the passenger side.

Not really sure when or where it happened. I thought... well, that kinda sucks- gonna have to fix that before I drive home....
So we went down and saw my nephew in the hospital. Poor kid spent his 3rd birthday stuck in a bed with an IV in his arm.

He got really sick and was totally dehidrated- went in on Friday and probably won't make it home till Tuesday.
So we stayed there for a while, then stopped at the hardware store on the way home so I could pick up something to reattach my bumper. Turns out the bolts stipped right out of the plastic ladder thingy that hold the bumper on and the plactic piece was long gone. So as of right now it's being held on with three 1/4 inch bolts, some lock nuts, and nylon washers.

At least it made it home.
OK, that's my story for today- we'll now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
Believe me- after 8 1/2 months and 4 engine blocks, the car definitely earned the name Debacle.
I don't like Tom (and neither should you).
