Your old man has a 250 SWB?!

I'm going to have to hate you until you can arrange for me to get a ride in it.

Nothing in the world sounds as good as a vintage Ferrari V12 at full song, NOTHING!

I know in the Ferrari edition of "Victory by Design" Alan DeCadenet picked the 275 as the road Ferrari he'd most like to own.

For me though, the 250 SWB is one of the most beautifully designed cars on the planet. It's just so purposeful and aggressive looking.

In the Ferrari world I think only the 250 GTO and the 330 p4 are prettier. The 330 p4 is my all time favorite though.

There was a guy that used to race at Road America and he had a 250 SWB and a GTO replica and the wail of those V12's coming down the hill into turn 5 would make your hair stand on end.

Does your dads 250 have three or six carbs? I know three is more correct but six is more common in the racing circles.

he has the 6 carb set up in the car, but he does have a 2nd engine stamped 2083 (the same SN as the one that in the car right now) that has the 3 carb setup. long story short. he was looking through a ferrari mag. and found a SWB engine for sale stamped 2083. so he called the guy and asked because he has 2083 in his car. the dude said that in 62 they built that 2nd engine for some race and after that then put it in a 250 cal. and so about 3 years ago my dad picked it up. and it now makes a great center-piece in the living room

So you've got a 250 V12 as a coffee table? Now I really hate you. ;)
