I do 35 hours a week, I normally do about 40 or 45 hours worth of work. Still "learning" though, the tech that I share a garage spot with does about 55 hours on a 30 hour week.focinite wrote:oil jockey or ball joint and brake gravy theif? if yer the oil monkey then holy f-bomb!!!!! they didnt pay that well( worked in the lane while i was in class for asset) when i worked there. if yer the gravy theif, then shame on you for stealing any thing under 3 hours, and then i could see were yo get the money. its not hard to make flat rate that way.frankjt96 wrote:Work at Apple Valley Ford as, Quicklane Technician.spots25 wrote:I would like to know where you work. damm!!!! tousley was having issues before i left we had a team system that really didnt work well after ford cut alot of there warrenty times. The guy in the quick lane on the other hand got all our gravy work( customer pay) and left us (47 techs) to fend for our selves. made for a long grumpy day. but its ok i left for Tires plus and doubled my yearly the first 3/4 year i was there, plus with 3 techs it dont get as clicky as the dealer, alas i do miss the dealership.
