With 18" wheels with a 215/35 tire be pushing it in Minnesota Roads?
I would like to get 17" but the wheel I want no longer has 17" avialable....
I have the 1.5" FRPP drop in the Foco also
What I would want for a wheel would be Black with a machined lip. Any suggestions would be great!

18's are fine. They look pimp as hell.
You should talk to Y2k about the wheels he has in his closet that he needs to sell. Not your exact description, but the wheels are baller as hell and would look rediculously hot on your car.

I have 18's on Alien. If you go with 18's I'd highly highly recommend getting Falken Zeis ZE-512 tires, they have a super strong side wall which is great for protecting the wheels from pot holes and such.

I rocked 225/35/18's on my focus and they were fine. I am using 225/40/18's in the front now on my Rabbit just for a little more piece of mind, but 35 profile on 18's looks really nice too with the right drop.

I have 18's with 225/35's, but haven't put them on yet. I also have the frpp springs, and I'm hoping it will look ok. I'll take some pics when I get them on.

Its weird the difference between brands idea what a 35 sidewall is. Josh's sidewall is huge compared to what a 35 normally looks like in other brands.
