Yep, and I installed a switch so I can turn them off as well (they are activated by opening the trunk, but the switch is for convenience) so I can crack it open in the summer and get a nice breeze and enjoy some Empire Records and a bottle of wine.

I'd be careful drinking wine in the back of the car if I were you....Very nice, though. I need to do a bit of that myself, the interior lighting in the focus is absolute shit.

I removed the stock light in the hatch and used its wires since it's activated by opening the hatch.
You CAN hook into the fuse box if you so choose.

each light only uses around 3-watts (1/4 amp) so you don't have to worry about overpowering the stock wiring unless you're doing ALOT of lights.
10 light tubes = 30watts.
[watts/volts=amps]
so 30watts = 2.5 amps
give or take 10%. you're looking at a max of 3 amps power draw with 10 lights.

That's what all of my friends want from me!

I dont understand why everybody's so afraid of wiring. it's pretty simple in a 12-volt system and the odds of getting zapped are nearly nill

^^ unless you're strange like me, and have a 2.4 farad capacitor in the trunk...its a rather strange feeling opening the door after you disconnect the battery, and the dome light turns on.
