I have a Greddy turbo out of a 7.3L Powerstroke. It spins fine but I'd recommend a rebuild or at least a good cleaning. I'll take pictures soon, Not sure how many miles are on it. First person to come at me with $75 takes it.

You'd need three Zetec's to spin that thing up.

It's actually not HUGE! I mean it is big but it can be done. One of the techs that I work with, Greg, boosted his SVTF with one.

Diesel turbos seem to be the thing for small-displacement cars nowadays. A lot of the 2.3 Turbo guys are into Holsets from Cummins-powered pickups and a lot of the guys have to port the internal wastegates to keep from overboosting.

Maybe I'll have to keep my eyes open for one then, I've seen some Diesel turbos around work and they look afwully big to me.

I've had a couple of Holsets. Bought to resell (go figure...I know, I know). The ones being used by the Honda/DSM/Ford 2.3 crowd are GT40 size and are boat anchors. Those guys are making massive top end power. The engines have to be set up for RPM's as the spool time is not ball bearing fast. But once spooled the push a lot of air. Very reliable and excellent designs.

Yeah, Steve, that one you posted is huge. The Holsets the TurboFord guys go for are close to a T4 compressor and T3 turbine (the HX35 or HE351W, IIRC). Obviously the one you've got and the one frankjt96 posted are different turbos.
