Well since you can still type I'm assuming you're allright?

You really should post pics, I doubt that you'll have any trouble selling off parts.

Dumb question but aren't you filing an insurance claim?

Yeah, I was also in more details about what happend, why(140mpg?) and what is left. But I figured there is probably a reason you did'nt post any info.

But post pics of whats left...

Basicly I got cut off by a van and turned to not hit them. As for the ins claim, I only have liability, but still owe on the car.
I'll get some pics later today and put them in the photo threads.

One more dumb question, how can you have a loan on the car but only carry liability insurance?

Most lenders require you to carry full coverage and most insurance companies ask if the car is subject to any liens as well.

As long as the car isn't the collateral on the loan you can have liability.

Same, If I still had a focus I'd buy the seats, any one down for fabricating mounts to make the front seats fit in an 86 Jetta? :D

That's a bummer. Do you have other transportation lined up at least?

I need a hand brake boot and I wouldn't mind the shift boot, steering wheel and HVAC controls.
