SVT parts

Just spun out into the ditch at 140mph with my SVT, Thinking of selling all parts and interior.
Car still runs, not sure on driveabilaty as of yet.

Let me know what you want and we'll work something out.

You really should post pics, I doubt that you'll have any trouble selling off parts.

Dumb question but aren't you filing an insurance claim?

Yeah, I was also in more details about what happend, why(140mpg?) and what is left. But I figured there is probably a reason you did'nt post any info.

But post pics of whats left...

I'll take the pedals tho...

Basicly I got cut off by a van and turned to not hit them. As for the ins claim, I only have liability, but still owe on the car.
I'll get some pics later today and put them in the photo threads.

That sucks. But I guess when at that speeds stuff like that will happen, they are'nt assuming your coming up that fast...

One more dumb question, how can you have a loan on the car but only carry liability insurance?

Most lenders require you to carry full coverage and most insurance companies ask if the car is subject to any liens as well.

As long as the car isn't the collateral on the loan you can have liability.

that sucks dude, good to know that you are ok... but if you need hands to fix your car or to tear it apart just let me know... i got laid off from work or like i call it... vacations... so i have a lot of time ...

Same, If I still had a focus I'd buy the seats, any one down for fabricating mounts to make the front seats fit in an 86 Jetta? :D

That's a bummer. Do you have other transportation lined up at least?

I need a hand brake boot and I wouldn't mind the shift boot, steering wheel and HVAC controls.
