Just e mailed the guy hoping to pick up http://forums.focaljet.com/power/614843 ... -07-a.html <---those cams, and that will just start my buying spree. After that, Xcal, intake, exhuast, and some other toys. Any heads up on what i'm lookin at? I'm shooting for 170 whp by spring, tuned, and possibly e-85.

I thought you were selling it?
Maybe I'm mistaken but I doubt you'll hit 170 whp without bumping the compression. That said a really well tuned N/A car is a lot of fun.

After my dab into research, those are the *largest* cams you can run on stock internals other than valve springs and retainers, which he is selling with the cams. It requires the basic in-out stuff (intake, header) and a tune is optional, but imo after that big of a increase to the car it's stupid to not, so DB should see my car this winter.

That's not possible and you know it, you'd need like three clones of Pappy to get to that level.mnfocusS wrote: Yet another reason to think your more of a tool then turbo tom.

No doubt... But since you 'sold your car'.....
I don't think this cam talk really pertains anymore....

They are getting tough to find. I just did a quick look at all the sites and didn't come up with much. Crane and Crower were both producing them but Crane has since been bought out and Crower just recently stopped producing them. However, the op does have a chance with Massive, as they do still carry Crower stg. 1 cams in stock, but at $400 a set it's spendy. Good news is thought with stg. 1's you could probably safely use OEM Valve springs and have no worries.

Stage 2 cams are hard to come by. I recently found that Massive keeps some in stock I guess, but who knows how long they will keep/have them.iminhell wrote:So ya ban him?
and I'm still not believing Kaleb bought it. Black man wouldn't be caught dead in a Ford.
I'm not up on the dura stuff but, stage 2 cams are rare?
I'm thinking I might just settle with a very mild Stage 1, stock valve springs and retainers, intake, exhaust, tune, e-85 possible, and a ported head. Shooting for 150-160ish wheel. Basically just something small and fun. I've been debating on picking up a zetec Focus or ZX2 and boosting it as a fun car. Nothing wicked fast, just something with a sweet WOOOOOSH, pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
