Turbo/Supercharger options for my ST

I just want to explore the option of turboing my ST.

Can you guys help me understand
1.)turbo/supercharger options that are out there,
2.)how much they would cost and
3.)how much it would be to install them?
Also,
4.)I would like to understand better how much power/performance it would add to my car.
Would it wear down and burn out my engine?
If i could find an inexpensive one and install it inexpensively, I would do it.

But I might need help finding one. Any help from you guys would be appreciated. Thanks!

FS Werks.
The only option I'd consider for a boosted Focus...I don't care what anyone posts in here about any other company or tuner bullshit. FS Werks is the only place I'd consider for boosted options.

FSwerks is $3,195 for the parts alone though....right? There must be something similar for less expensive just to make your car faster....right?

Sure, you can find something cheaper...but like I said, the only place I'd get something like this is FS Werks...
You have to pay to play...

If you want it done right you have to pay for it.
You want to go fast cheap? Buy a dry nitrous kit, you'll go real fast but your car will be dead just as fast.
FSWerks is the way to go.
Or just trade the ST in on a new GT500, those are fast without any modding at all.

Well, if you can find the parts you can do cams, high compression pistons, header etc but that's a ton of work and the labor is way expensive and the parts aren't cheap IF you can find them.
Besides the fact that the highest horsepower N/A 2.3 I'm aware of was something like 230 hp.
You could keep your cars basic civility with the FS Werks turbo kit on there and probably make around 230 without the massive work involved with an N/A build.
Anyone know the limits of the stock 2.3 internals?

Why not just buy something that's already boosted - saves you time and money. There's one hell of a lot of both involved in doing this right !!Bob

yeah. you could get a boosted honda for under $5k. parts are cheap and there's a big aftermarket out there for them. you could prolly have more power then a focus is capable of. and there's a great mn community for them

If you could find a clean running Boosted Honda for under 5k, chances are good it's either a D series, or has a ching chong meow turbo kit on it.

you could do a cheap turbo kit you put together using a small turbo off a DSM, Vovlo or something that has a small turbo. Then not much to worry about for over power and what not.

There is a S/C in the works from F2. I'm planning on getting that. I will let you know.
