Then I got the old ORP off and the flex off. and I noticed... being I have had a check engine light for over a year nd just kept putting it off... I saw my old orp... with a dent and cracks in it... wow. that explains alot.
Ran up to CarQuest and picked up a couple new O2 sensors, just to be safe. Put my new flex pipe in, 2 1/2 in pipe, and my new wrapped ORP in, also 2 1/2, with the O2 bungs moved to a "safer" location. lol. put everything together and let it run for a while. the wrap cooked on beautifuly, and my check engine light went away!!! YEAY! I took it to the gas station for some brake fluid, and kicked it down... I noticed a LOT of difference in it now that the engine light is gone.
I would have never known the problem was the cracks in the pipe. I couldn't hear it over the rest of my exhaust...

So, getting thse new pipes was a very positive thing.

So, yes... I had a good morning.
Oh, and if anyone wants to know, hdsixhundred (sorry, I'm horrible with names, and I forgot by the time you left.

Got stuck with a bad car, but is still kicking strong. Don't let the car, dim your opinion on the SVT Focus. It is an amazing car, you just were stuck in an unfortounate situation with one.
