cosworth parts on duratec

i know it was already brought up that just the stock 2.3 and the turbo kit from f2 would be sweet, but what about a total engine swap (kind of) cosworth sells full engines of the 2.3 duratec that comes with 250 hp and 260 NM (if anyone knows how that is calculated in lb-ft) of torque.

wouldnt building up the engine before i boost it cause less stress on the car though? how much can the stock bock handel?

The stock motor can handle more power than would ever be needed in a street car <300. Anything over that is pointless, ask Davis, haha

well if you think about what you would need...
1. good pistons
2.good rods
3.good valve train
4.good head(keep yer mind on task!!!)


most this stuff is just coming out or is still to come out for the d-tek . you already have a better design than the z-tek , bigg valves ,a better lower end. if it were me id toss some boost a lsd and a good tune at it and call the drive train done. :twisted:
