Trying to find the specs on my SVT block/internals. Looked on the net and came up with nothing detailed enough. Anyone know what they are or where I can find them.
Thanks

Main diff between ZX3 Zetec and SVT Zetec is the head with Variable intake cam timing, a dual-stage intake manifold, tuned tubular header with a more free flowing cat and exaust, a dual-mass flywheel, i think thats about it for the intake/exhaust side.

internals have forged connecting rods, and 20mm wrist pins and of course different pistons to increase the compression.

crank and pistons no, rods yes. Type no clue, never seen the info on that. Call or Email Mcnews http://www.mcnewsautomotive.com/ they're probably the best all around SVT focus experts out there.

And, from all accounts, they are very helpful.

If thats the kind of stuff you wanted to know in your PM then I can't help much.

Outside of advertising Ford really doesn't tell us anything like that.

The manuals are only there to assist in repairs and the parts book only gives part numbers, it doesn't tell us that the pistons are cast or forged. In fact my Ford resources don't even give cam specs because in all reality in the parts world it doesn't matter. Ford says this is a Zetec cam and this is an SVT cam.

They don't even publish acceptible cylinder pressures for a compression test.
Tasca Auto Group- Employee pricing on all parts.
